In order for a bar to succeed, you will need to have the basic wines, liquors, and spirits, along with the right equipment. While making a cocktail isn't rocket science, one must follow some basic principles to be successful.
A Cocktail is any alcoholic beverage that usually combines brandy, vodka, gin, or whiskey with other liquors or fruit juices and is often served chilled. Most bartending courses also include a video demonstration of how to prepare the drink. Choosing the right school is a serious undertaking, and should be given appropriate time and exploration.
Most Bartending classes are held in the morning and the evening, including weekends. When a drink is termed sour, it means that it is a short drink made of liquor, lime or lemon juice and sugar. Bartenders are expected to show their personality behind the bar.
Many online courses teach the same principles as taught in traditional bartending schools. For more detailed information and techniques sign up for my newsletter at the top of this page.
