Proper techniques in mixing drinks and cocktails are very essential for the bars success. Landing a bartending job is sometimes tough, so you have to get prepared.
Your choice of bartending schools should be carefully investigated. Most of the mature bartenders were either the bar owners or had drinking problems and found it convenient to be in close proximity to alcohol. In a posh restaurant setting, the bartender may have little to no contact with the public, but in a cozy bar type setting, the bartender could be in constant contact with the public.
Dealing with customers can also be a tricky thing. If a customer comes accompanied by a date or companion, treat them both as if they are royalty, address the customer like you know them and remember them.
