It can be fun and exciting and slow nights might not be so difficult but, if you have yourself a good bartending job at a busy, popular club or bar, you need to be prepared to work your tail off. Dating back thousands of years, bartending began as a trade by those that produced liquor and in turn sold it to the public.

There will be good times and some bad, with bartending. Having knowledge about different drinks and being able to create unique drinks according to the various customer's taste and preferences will help increase business. There isn t a maximum age for tending bar.

A White Russian, for example, must be stirred completely because of the heavy cream and thick Kahlua. As a bartender, you should always be thinking what you can do especially for your guest. There should be also be fruit juices on hand as well, such as lemon juice, orange juice, and even pineapple juice.

If you go to college and learn the techniques required for bartending, you can make more money than you ever thought possible. And most importantly, get the interviewer to like you.
